This is often accompanied by a reminder to flush or a suggestion that it is right that the man's semen should be flushed away.

This is done largely to demean the man, the man's viability as a sexual partner, or the man's suitableness to reproduce.

This is most often seen in humiliation scenes and to a lesser extent in humiliation-based cuckolding scenes.
