There are some idiots who pour alcohol on their skin and set fire to it. Yes, it does burn on the skin at a low temperature. But your hair burns much hotter- and your hair will burn. Don't be stupid!
Isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol alcohol which is for external use only. Called Rubbing Alcohol in the US and Surgical Spirits in the UK, it's great stuff for cleaning skin, particularly after play which breaks the skin.
