Marital Rape

Just because you are married, doesn't mean you can't be raped.  In ealier times - and in many countries still today - martial rape is not seen as a crime or is punished milder than rape beyond marriage. The wife is thought to have the duty to satisfy her husband and so her husband has the right to take it from her.

There has been a controversy about such paragraphs in the new Afghanian marriage law lately.
